A truly awesome tent for group and expedition use at high altitude. All year round the Cosmos is a superb choice. The geodesic design sleeps 8 in comfort and features 2 porches for access with 2 additional ‘doors’ allowing entry and exit with out climbing over gear. It's surprisingly easy to pitch with colour coded poles and continuous pole sleeves, easily managed by just two people. A great tip is to have someone inside the tent to lift the poles once they have been sleeved. this makes it easier to locate the pole ends in the eyelets. Great ventilation and you have the option of specifing zipped cook holes in the floor (please contact us before purchase), making the Cosmos perfect for base camp use in hostile environments.

The Flysheet, inner and groundsheet are made using 'High Tenacity Nylon 6.6' which is proven to give:
better UV resistance than standard synthetic materials
better resistance to flex fatigue
better tear and abrasion-resistance (up to 500% better than polyester)
better bonding to waterproof coatings
better strength to weight ratio
Colour coded 7075 aluminium alloy poles provide quick, simple and very strong and effective pitching.
Fabrics:
- Watershed 2 Flysheet minimises weight whilst maintaining strength and a minimum hydrostatic head of 8000mm
- Low weight Waterbloc groundsheet is very tough for its weight and has a minimum hydrostatic head of 10000mm
- Lightweight 7075 T9 aluminium alloy poles, colour coded for ease of pitching
